Is make-up necessary to look good?
Some
people think that make-up is completely necessary to look beautiful. However, others
think that only insecure people wear it. Consequently, many people (most of
them women) are make-up slaves.
On the
one hand, while you are wearing make-up, you feel more gorgeous, you feel
self-confident and more comfortable with yourself than without wearing it. It is normal that somedays you want to put some make up on, because you
have to go somewhere or you are asked to go to an important event, and it is “necessary”
because of the situation. Normally you look prettier with make-up on, because the
aim of those cosmetics, are to highlight your beauty.
On the
other hand, if you feel confident with yourself, you are not going to depend on
make-up, because you are going to like yourself, with and without make-up. You
should also know that make up isn’t used as a layer to hide your face. It is a
tool to “increase” your “potential”. You don’t need to wear make-up compulsory
to look good or to impress someone. Beauty is an attitude, not make-up.
As I see it, if you wear make up to feel good
and to highlight your own beauty and not to hide you behind a layer, you are
using it properly.
